When I first learned about Beishan Village, I came across a homestay in the village. Then I discovered that this Beishan Village is truly a treasure village. It is simple yet modern, plain yet artistic, quiet yet lively, and reserved yet charming.
Beishan Village has a long history. It is said to have been built during the Northern Song Dynasty and was formed by the residents of the Yang clan as the main body. Several ancient cultural relics buildings that are over a hundred years old have been preserved in the village, which are highly ornamental.

We got off at Nanping Station and entered through the village entrance archway. It felt as if we had slowly stepped into a paradise, far away from the hustle and bustle and leaving behind all the disputes. Here, we could put aside our fatigue, slow down our pace, relax our minds and enjoy ourselves to the fullest. Several interesting check-in spots in Beishan Village:
Yang Family Ancestral Hall
With a history of over 200 years, it features a garden-style design and a quadrangle courtyard layout. It is five bays wide and three bays deep, with libraries on both sides. The interior is decorated with stone carvings, wood carvings and brick carvings, making it extremely exquisite. To the west of the ancestral hall is Yang 匏 An Exhibition Hall.

The two-story warehouse has an extremely large space. Inside, there are a wide variety of old items, all in a nostalgic and ancient style. It's a bit like traveling back to the 1980s. Coffee is also available here, making it suitable for relaxation. Free admission on non-weekends, but a 10-yuan admission fee is charged on weekends.

▪ - Tingyun Study Room [Yang Family Ancestral Hall Store & Yinshiyuan Store]
Both are owned by the same boss and face each other. The Yang Family Ancestral Hall store is simple and elegant, perfect for those with a nostalgic mood. There is a children's art area inside and it is also suitable for families with children. As it is a garden store with a modern INS style, it is very suitable for daydreaming and artistic creation. It is recommended to visit both places to experience the collision of fashion and antiquity.

The store is an old-style two-story building. The exterior walls retain old grey bricks. The first floor is a book wall with small sundries and daily cultural and creative products, all of which are quite exquisite and cute. Coffee and desserts can also be ordered here. The second floor is the leisure area with three or five tables, which is suitable for reading or chatting with a few close friends here.

▪ - Beishan Monastery [No. 28, North Lane 1, Beishan Main Street]
A homestay transformed from a century-old private school, when you visit the old architectural design, will bring you a sense of amazement and surprise at first sight. In the front hall of the homestay, you can enjoy tea or sit quietly, which is a pleasant choice for a weekend.
